Nicole Cassou '13 Recruiting Profile

I've been swimming competitively since I was 8 years old. It has become more than just a sport for me, it is my passion. I've been a natural breasktroker from the beginning, and also have grown to love both IMs and middle distance freestyle events. I take my academics as seriously as I do my swimming. I am an avid reader, writer, and photographer. I am part of our schools's nationally ranked newspaper, and write commentaries. The 10th anniversary of 9/11, lung cancer awareness, and several political related topics were the focus of my articles during my Junior year. I hope to major in either journalism or political science. My dream college would have a strong swim program along with a rigorous academic enviromnent, where I can grow as both an athlete and a student.
