Marisa Yasuda '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'0 tall American born Japanese from Canada. I have been swimming competitively since 9 years of age. I really want to continue my swimming career that I have been continuing for more than half of my life so far. I would like to go to a school where the climate is pretty warm and the air quality is acceptable. But I am interested in all schools that have a good university swimming program and preferably having the courses I would like to study about. I would like to major in Pathology, forensics or any medical related majors. I am currently thinking about going into grad school for forensic sciences. I would like to keep swimming in varsity not just because I enjoy it, but I want to get further, have better performance and to achieve my dream which is to swim as many competitions worldwide and travel to as many countries for swimming competitions.
