I am currently the goalkeeper at New Richmond High School in New Richmond, WI. This year I got my second All-Conference First Team Title as a Goalkeeper. I have played recreational soccer since I was 6 years old and was told when I was 8 that I needed to join club soccer because I was very competitive. I have always played up at least one year in club soccer and when I was 14 I played with the U17. This is my 4th year on the girls Varsity soccer team. My freshman year I was first on the JV team in defense and then I got pulled up to the varsity team on the 2nd game also playing defense and was the backup goalie for the senior goalie. My sophmore year I was the starting goalie for the varsity and am goalie now currently during my junior year. During my club soccer years is where I fell in love with the goalie position. This year we placed second in our conference and had broke an all time school record of wins and shutouts. Our record this year was 15-7-1 with 12 of those wins being shut-outs. I am very proud of my team and will miss playing with them next year.
This is the link to our game against our biggest rival (Superior High School) that was recorded. We broke Superiors string of Conference wins in 3 years at this game. http://www.meridix.com/mbp/soccer/index.php?liveid=iFanNetwork1&recordid=73553&event_position=&event_type=&start_time=&stop_time=
I am looking for a school where I am able to go for Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy and a college atmosphere that is positive and challenging and where I can grow as an athlete, a student and as a person.
