Personal Statement

My goal is to find a college that has both a strong women's soccer and physical therapy / sports medicine program.  I'm truly dedicated to both the game of soccer and academics as both are physically and mentally challenging and push me to become a better overall athlete and student.  Outside of soccer I enjoy running, biking and hiking to keep me in physical shape as well as working and volunteering in my community to continue to strengthen my overall character.

When it comes to competitive soccer I love the challenge and reward the game brings and although scoring and winning is a thrill of its own I always learn and grow stronger from a loss as I believe that both really make you a stronger player.  I'm always committed to leading my team, I've recently been voted as captain for my club team and look forward to the opportunity to be a captain for my varsity team.  I look forward to interacting with college coaches and continuing to showcase my commitment to the sport and to my academic career.
