Personal Statement

My club team had a great fall season in 2013, winning the Wisconsin State Championship for the third time in four years, and becoming the Super Y National Champions. This fall, 2014, we finished as State Cup semifinalists. I play starting left mid for my club team, but also sub in at center and holding mid. This fall I led my team in goals scored, and played every position during games, including goalie. We are currently in my junior year high school season (spring 2015). I am a tri-captain, and am starting center mid. Halfway through my sophomore high school season I switched from left mid to holding midfielder, where I played full games. I had a direct impact on our transitional game, and was named honorable mention all-conference at midfield. Freshman year I was honorable mention all-conference at forward. I always work hard in school and in practice and try to step up as a leader on my team. This winter my high school coach asked me to lead team weight room workouts and to represent the program at our school's open house. My coaches value me for my technical skills, field vision, ball distribution, and my ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. I would love to join a competitive team and be able to make a strong impact as a player. My family is moving to Washington DC summer 2016, and I am focusing my college search on the East Coast.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
