Michelle Paugh '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11"  Junior defender from Fairmont ,WV although I can also play forward and outside midfield. I have played three years of high school varsity soccer and was also a starter all three years. I will graduate in the class of 2013. I am currently playing as a right defender in high school but a central defender in travel, however, I enjoy both positions. In the course of my Junior year, I received the resposibility of becoming a captain and received the award for All-Conference Honorable Mention. I played for Marion FC and am playing my second season with WV United Fusion. I attended Baltiomore's Columbia Invitational the last 2 years and participated in 2011 WISA Addidas Women's Showcase in North Carolina. I have taken several striking classes and have also completed winter dynamiques training and speed and agility training at Pro Performance in Morgantown, WV. I am looking to attend a college where the campus is not spread out much across town, where I can easily make it to classes. However, I am interested in checking out all campuses. I am also looking for a school where my time can be evenly distributed between classwork and practice. I plan to major in Psychology and become a Sports Psychologist or a Child Psychologist. So I am looking for a school that will have the classes I need. Ideally, I would like to make an immediate impact on the team and be a high contribution factor in my first year. However, I am up to any challenge and will work hard to earn my spot on the pitch, as I have done in the past, whether that be as a freshmen or not, either way I will look at it with a positive outlook.
