Update: Transferring from Rogers State with 4 years of eligibility remaining; I am released outside the Heartland Conference. I uploaded my release document which you will find in the "Transcripts" section of my profile.
I have made the RSU Dean's List for my 3.5 GPA.
See my new training video from Jan 2017 posted 1/4/2017. (My family used to live in Washington State, but now lives in Arizona.)
I would love to play soccer while getting a quality college education, and I am willing to look at universities far from home to get the best fit. I am undecided on my major, but I am interested in business (public relations), industrial/product design, and possibly criminal justice. I am currently attending Rogers State University as a red-shirt freshman, and I am still eligible to play for 4 years.
I went to State in the 2013 Poetry Out Loud competition as a Freshman. I changed high schools in fall of 2014 to West Valley High School, and since I played soccer for my previous school the year before, I had to sit out of HS Soccer due to WIAA school transfer rules. During the off-season I practiced with boys teams and also with my personal GK coach to keep my skills sharp. I played high school sports for Naches Valley HS my 9th/10th grade years at 1A. At that time, I attended half day classes at Naches, and half day classes at Washington Virtual Academy due to travel for sports. My older sister started at GK for our high school. I use the HS season to keep my foot skills sharp, playing as defender/midfielder. I transitioned to goalkeeper for my former club team, Crossfire Premier ECNL Reserves G97. I had to come back home locally for club soccer, where I now play for Central WA Soccer Academy as GK (U18).
As far as elite/showcase/ID teams go, I have been invited to practice with the semi-pro team, Issaquah Gunners, the spring of 2015. I was starting GK for 2 years for Washington State's US Club PDP team called PSPL Surf Academy G97 (1 yr up), and I played at age for the G98's for 1 year. These teams have ODP status under the ID2 program.
My goal: I am looking for a playing opportunity at a college that is the right fit. I can play any position. I believe everyone should be a team player and I work hard to make my teammates successful.
My strengths are in this order: Goalkeeper and Defender (equal), Defensive Mid, Attacking Mid, Outside Mid, Forward. I would be open to playing any position for the right coach, the right team, and the right school.
Style of play: sweeper/keeper with possession/counter attack
Quick strength info (current as of 2015):
bench press: 100 lbs
leg press: 390 lbs, maxed out machine
squats: 179 lbs
