In 2013, I didn't make the WA ODP traveling roster. However, instead of getting discouraged, I became motivated. I put in countless hours everyday to improve my skills, strength, and agility to become a better player. The following year, my hours of hard work payed off: not only did I make the 2014 WA ODP traveling roster, but I also got to start in the ODP Region IV Championships, and I also made the Region IV pool. Not making the team in 2013, was one of my greatest setbacks, however, without experiencing that setback I never would have learned one of the most important lessons in my life: if you set your mind to a goal, believe in yourself, and dedicate your time to achieving your goal, you can achieve anything and everything.
With my dedication, passion, positive attitude, and leadership, I believe that I will make a significant impact on any program. I am looking for a program that not only fits my athletic desires, but my academic standards as well. I am a competitor on and off the field; I want to be the best on the field, but also in the classroom. I put my best foot forward in everything I participate in. I will do everything it takes to help my team achieve its goals. I will always challenge myself to continue to improve and raise the bar. I will always challenge myself to be the best that I can be.
