Personal Statement

From a young age, I can truly say that soccer has always been my passion. I love the game and the competition. I also feel that I bring a keen understanding of the strategy, field vision, and an ability to see space and the options that are available. I am also a leader that can encourage camaraderie among the team.

Physically, I am a 5'5" midfielder from Redmond, WA. I have played for Eastlake High School’s junior varsity team for two years as a center defender and midfielder. I have also played in the midfield position for teams in the Crossfire Premiere club for six years.

Academically, I have a 3.4 unweighted GPA. All of my courses over the last three years have been either AP, Honors or University of Washington (college in the classroom) classes. I achieved a 1670 on the SAT and a 26 on the ACT.

What am I looking for? I am looking for an opportunity to combine my passion and drive for the game with a dynamic and collaborative team, and coaching environment that fosters success. I’m also seeking to balance my soccer career and goals with a competitive academic program at a university that has an outstanding academic reputation in the field of bio-med, with a possible focus in the area of forensics.

I look forward to exploring the opportunities that lie ahead and finding a mutual fit where I can make an immediate contribution. I’m excited to be part of a competitive college team and a great school/sports environment that enables me to further my soccer and academic achievements.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
