My name is Shayanne O'Day, but many people who get to know me just call me Shay. I'm from the town of Puyallup, WA. I'm 5'5'' and weigh about 135, but it's not my physical attributes I would be most described by, but the integrity and effort I bring with me; on and off the field. I play a sport that is a team sport, and to me a team is made up of individuals that are willing to be selfless in order to do what is best for team itself.
I’ve been a starter (defence) on the Puyallup High School Women’s Varsity Soccer team every year of my high school career; this past season making it to the 2010 SPLS Playoffs (4A). I am captain for the Puyallup High School Women’s Varsity Soccer this incoming season and have been the captain of the SHSC U18 girls for the past four years. I will be graduating in June 2012 with the drive to become a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics. I'm interested in the pre medical programs that will lead me into a successful medical school, but will also fill my need for the competitive sport I’ve been playing for the past eight years now. I prefer more of a small college town atmosphere, but I’m not afraid to get my feet wet and see what opportunities are out there for me.
