My post-high school goal is to attend an four-year institution with plans to double major. I intend to enroll in a school that is known for high academic standards. I desire a college that will push me to excel in my field of study. Currently, I am interested in studying mathematics. My secondary goal is to play soccer in college. I want to attend a school that provides a strong soccer program with exceptional sporting facilities. I aspire to start as goalkeeper on my college team, no matter what division I play. Lastly, though not a necessity, I dream about going to a school close to outdoor activities. My family and I are avid outdoorsmen including hiking, skiing, hunting and other activities. These activities preserve balance in my life and offer continuing adventures and challenges.
Dreams do not come true, unless you work for them. Academically, I am in AP and other advanced classes with the intention to gain college credit before high school graduation through a local "Running Start" program. I push myself farther than the normal academic standards. Athletically, I see a personal trainer every week, go to goalkeeper training and lead my teams as captain at practice and in games. I guest play for many different clubs in the area and I guest play for older teams (the U17 and U18 teams) in my club.
