Ashleigh Marcelino '11 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a school where I can obtain a high quality education, as well as being able to compete at a high level on the soccer field. I am open to all opportunities and experiences, and wish to broaden my horizons during my college years. Ideally, I would like to be able to attend a school that allows me to strike a relative balance between classroom time and time spent on the field. On the field, I work hard and look for coaches and teammates who will push me to do more on and off of the field. I have played soccer at the Premier level and have loved every minute of the fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere. I have attended extra training, from several Division I college coaches in order to get myself ready for collegiate level soccer. I am not afraid of doing more or going the extra mile to attain my goal of playing soccer in college and I enjoy a challenge. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me when it comes to selecting the right college.
