Shelby Vermeulen '16 Recruiting Profile

I have the biggest passion for soccer. My biggest goal since I started playing soccer was to play while getting a college education. I am a good candidate for any team and different from other recruits because of the following reasons:??

• I am dedicated to my team and to every drill, practice, and game,
• I am serious and passionate about learning more about getting better and understand that everyone has room for improvement,
• I understand the game of soccer better than most players because I can see the field in a different perspective than anyone else,
• Not only can I play goalie I have good foot skills for playing on the field too. 
• I have had 10 years of experience. Playing for everything from AYSO to premiere to high school, 
• If a goal gets past me then I devote my time to finding out what I did wrong and fixing it so i don't ever get scored on the same way twice,
• I have a better than average GPA and understand that if I don't keep my grades up I won't play and because of that I am dedicated to keeping my grades up which has never been a problem for me.
