My goals in the near future are to play soccer at the college level. For the past 2 years I have balanced soccer and college academics as I have been attending a community college full-time for running start while playing high school soccer. I believe going forward I have a lot to offer a collegiate soccer program as both a leader on the team, in the community and in the classroom. Throughout my years in high school I have demonstrated this by being a leader as an athletics captain, a young life leader, a class officer as well as in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA. In my four years of playing soccer at Auburn High School I have been a part of a team that has steadily won more games every year. In my freshmen year at Auburn we won just three games, and last year we qualified for the state tournament for the first time in 30 years. Last year, I led the team with 12 goals including scoring the game winning goal to send us to state as well as the first goal in our state playoff game. Our league (The SPSL) is known as one of the toughest in the state, having a team in the state semi-finals 6 out of the last 8 years.
My aspirations in the coming years are to use soccer and college as a stepping stone to a career in the business world. I would like to attend a school with a strong Business program where I could attain the necessary tools to become an entrepreneur or enter the corporate world. I feel that my strong personality and leadership skills are ideal for both the business world and the athletic field.
