I find playing soccer to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have played since I was five progressing through recreation, advanced and have been with a travel team since I was ten. I have played travel with Churchland Soccer League, Virginia Rush and am currently with Beach FC 95 Girls Red. I have played all positions on the field including one season of keeper. I enjoy the midfield position the most. I played for my High School team in my junior year and started and played the entire game for the majority of the games. I played midfield but stepped in as defender when the leading defender was hurt. In the final match of the year I was able to score from 40 yards out against a nationally ranked keeper. I have also participated in ODP 95 VA Southeast District in 08 and 11 and also for the 95 VA State Pool 2011-2012. I practiced as a defender but for the game was moved to forward. I have been taking honors classes in English, Science and Social Studies since Middle School. I will be enrolled in a dual enrollment English Class with the local Community College for my senior year. I have completed four years of Spanish and also one year of Latin. I attend a zero bell orchestra class and have been playing the violin for 7 years. We recently played at Carnegie Hall. I also play piano (10 years) and guitar (6 years). I was a Girl Scout for 7 years and have been abroad with People to People Student Ambassador and Sports Ambassador Programs. I am looking forward to continuing my education but also the opportunity to play the game I love at a higher level.
