Olivia Griffin '18 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer ever since I was young. I have always had a love for the game. I started out on a recreational team when I was in second grade. I then realized in fourth grade that I wanted to play on a higher level. I then started playing competitively. Currently I am playing on Forza Futbol club, a Priemier 1 team. I have developed skills with the help of my many great coaches. I love my team and I love how close we are. We are like a family. 

I play center forward, and outside wing. I love to play wing because I can be creative with the runs I make. I also enjoy it because I get to take the ball down the line, and cross the ball into the goal box. I have strength and speed that I use to my advantage while on the field. I push myself to play the best I can, and also encourage my team to do the same. I continue to improve by working on my technical skills and also doing speed and agility training on my own. 

In fall of 2015, I played high school soccer for Davis. Our Varsity team has won the 5A state championship two years in a row. Our Junior Varsity team played 16 games and lost one. I scored 18 goals in the high school season (not counting pre-season). I had great coaches and loved every second of it!

I work my hardest in school. I maintain a 3.6 GPA. I am a responsible student and strive for the best. I do my best, because I know how important my grades are for scholarships. 

It is a dream of mine to play soccer on a collegiate level. I think it would be an amazing experience to play with the best players. I know I would enjoy traveling the country and meeting new people. I hope one day to play soccer in college.
