Personal Statement

Soccer has been my passion since I joined my first club when I was eight years old. I am currently in my junior year at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah, which is a 5A school and one of the largest schools in Utah. I am proud to have lettered for three years on a team that has won state two years in a row and was ranked #1 in the nation this year. I love the technical parts of soccer but just as important, the teamwork involved in soccer is what drives me. There is nothing better than playing midfield and impacting the game with the perfect cross or through ball for a goal to win a game. I enjoy playing soccer year round with my club, high school and previously being involved with the Utah ODP program.

I joined Wasatch Elite two years ago to train under two of the top coaches in the state. I knew that they would have the most positive impact to continue to improve my technical and possession skills.

Off the field, my academics are a priority. I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I want to play soccer at the highest level possible and know that good grades are an important part of that process.
