Jessie Garcia '13 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'6, and i weigh 125. I plan on playing Soccer in college! I play goalkepper and defense this year. I've played soccer since I was in a private school. I made captian my freshman year and my sophomore year in Jv; i stole it from a Junior because i worked hard and proved to my coach that i deserved it! My junior year, I made Captain on the Junior Varsity and played playoffs with the Varsity team. I was very nervous my first game but i gave it all i had and ended up playing alot more in our second playoff game against Laredo United. I've always wanted to play soccer in college because it is my passion. I am planning on going into Elementary Education as my major; my family is in financial need though. One of my major goals is to play, and put my heart into evey minute that i do. To play as a freshman will be a great honor and dream come true, and i plan on creating a good impact on the team and creating a bond to make us stronger.
