I would like to graduate in 4 years with a bachelor degree and later, go on to get my masters. I aim to have a 3.4 GPA each semester. I want to be a leader and role model to others on and off the field. I would like to start each game and score or assist at least once in every game I play. As a college athlete I want the opportunity to impact the community in a positive way.
I am captain of my high school team and a leader on and off the field with both my actions and my words. I push myself to become a better player and try to ignore physical pain even though that is not always a good thing. I am willing to challenge anyone in the air or on the dribble. I love fighting for the ball and winning it. I like to play a passing game, but I also like trying to put a long ball behind the defense when I see a good scoring opportunity for one of my teammates.
I have a positive attitude and outlook no matter what, but I always try to have a realistic view of things. I am a leader and a team player and I am good at solving problems on and off the field. I have a strong leg and an accurate kick that is almost equal with my right and left foot. I will head the ball from any kick if I can jump high enough. I have a good touch and skills as well as a good shot. I've played almost every position on the field at some point in time.
I am good at math and science and I am a year ahead in math and English. I take all honors and AP classes unless it is not offered. I am willing to learn and ask for help when I feel like I need it. I also know how to help others understand work and concepts that they might be struggling with. I have taken college prep classes and love learning new things. I have also had many experiences outside the classroom that have given me the opportunity to understand more about history and the world. I feel that this puts me a step ahead of others in the classroom because I have taken the time to educate myself further than my teachers can in the amount of time given.
I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life as a college athlete. I know there will be challenges I will face, but feel like my determination, faith and work ethic will help me face whatever may come my way.
