As a senior at Copperas Cove high school, I am more determined more than ever to finish what I have started. To leave a legacy behind and to start a new one somewhere else. When I go to college, I will be a first generation college student, and hopefully leaving inspiration with my sister to accomplish her goals.
I want to find a school with a strong medical program to help me peruse in the health careers in which I would like to work in. I have a 3.4 GPA, and I'm looking to improve that by taking AP classes this year. Personally, there is always room for improvement. No matter how great or smart one is, there is more than enough to work on.
After school, I stay on campus to tutor other students who are struggling. Particularly in math and science. I also volunteer as a coach for a younger generation of the Tri-County flyers. Helping others has always been a priority of mine, even helping out the community plays a major role. For my LDS youth group, we have done multiple service projects for the community. We have set up food drives, and cleaned nature parks in our area. Doing these things makes me feel like I'm giving back somehow and improving myself in the process.
I'm always looking for improvement. Wither it be in life or on the pitch, I'm willing to go the extra mile in order to accomplish my goals. I know it might not be the easiest route, but it's going to be worth it in the end.
