My name is Amanda Alaniz, I am a Brownsville native and I attend Homer Hanna High School and I am going to purse Occupational therapy in college. I have been in my schools medical program since my freshman year, I am CPR and Heimlich Maneuver certified on infants, children, and adults by the American Heart Association. In the medical program I have been able to first hand watch surgeries, live birth, physical and occupational therapy sessions.I am a leader in the classroom and on the soccer field and I am a strong believer in teamwork.I practice every Tuesday and Thursday with the field players on my club team and every Sunday GK practice. I train with with Daniel Reyna (an ex-pro for Monterry a Mexican division 1 team in La Liga). On the days I don't practice I run and try to set aside at least an hour to exersize. My goals for my senior is to not just become better on the field, but better in the classroom. I submitted my highlight video just pending on it to be watermarked by NCSA
