I have been playing soccer since I was about five years old and I love it more than anything. A big dream of mine has always been to play in college. I hope to play somewhere that I'll be able to make an immediate impact on the team. I'm open to any size school, as long as I like the environment and location of it. I try to work hard at everything that I do, and I think that that will be a very good quality to have in college.
My just completed spring club season ended very successfully. I helped lead our team to 2nd Place in the 2015 Tennessee State Cup. We also had a new coach this season and he had me playing striker as opposed to outside midfield which has been my normal position. I was named a captain before our season began and I also led our team with 10 goals and had 2 assists, which tied for the team lead with 3 of my teammates.
My high school season in the fall of 2014, I scored 6 goals and again led my team with 12 assists. I was named 1st Team All-Conference. My team tied for first place in our Conference and lost in the tournament semi-finals in overtime. I was also the recipient of the Lady Trojan Award.
In my sophomore high school season in the fall of 2013, I led my team in assists with 16 and also had 8 goals. We were first place and undefeated in our Conference, won our District tournament, were second in the Regional tournament and qualified for sub-state. I was named 2nd Team All-Conference. This most recent spring season, spring 2014, I played and started for two club teams- Crush '97 Sevilla, with whom I played up an age group, and also Crush '98 Phoenix, which is my current age group.
In the summer of 2013, I was able to attend the Region 3 ODP Camp as an alternate on the Tennessee ODP state team. I got the opportunity to play with and against some of the best players in the region. I also played and started on Knoxville Soccer Academy's Super Y League team in the summer of 2013. I was voted as captain on my previous club team, as well. As a freshman in 2012, I helped my high school team to Conference, District, and Regional championships, as well as an appearance in sub-state.
I hope to go to a school that will fulfill my academic needs as well as my athletic ones. I currently have a 4.28 weighted GPA and I have a score of 31 on the ACT. I also have AP Test Scores of 5 for Psychology, Calculus AB, English Language, and for United States Government and Politics. I have a 4 in U.S. History and Calculus AB, and I have a 3 for Human Geography. I have also been named an AP Scholar with Distinction. I am undecided on a major as of now, but I am interested in Psychology and Mathematics, with an interest in possibly attending law school .
