I have been playing soccer since I was about five years of age. Soccer is my life and it is what I know and can do very well. Soccer is my passion and I am fully committed to the sport. I work hard and try my best to improve more and more each day. One thing I do when I come off the field during most games, is I will ask my coach what I need/can improve on. I know even if I am playing my best game, there is always something that could be fixed to be better than what it once was.
I have a well rounded personality. I love helping others and I love to do volunteer work. Helping others is a part of who I am. I am a Christian, and church has a great impact on my life. Before every game, I led my team in prayer. God is the reason I have made it this far in my career as a soccer athlete. Not only has God gotten me this far, but also my family. My family is my world. They help me to succeed in the things that matter most in my life. My family has greatly impacted not only me as a person, but also my life. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.
In 2013 I was fortunate enough to be selected as a captain of my High School soccer team. Being selected to be a captain is a special feeling as well as a challenging task. I did anything and everything I could to not only make my team better, but to make us stronger and more united. Not only am I a leader of my soccer team, I am also the leader of my choir class as the president at my school. Getting these two opportunities this year has shown me part of myself that I didn't think I was. As a entered my senior year of soccer, I was looking forward to be a captain again but it didn't go quite as expected. Even though I didn't get name captain, I did not let that stop me from being a leader. I always said that not having a title doesn't mean you can't do what you are meant to do.
Getting an opportunity to play soccer in college has always been a goal and/or dream. Soccer is my life and future. I am up for any task that benefits my game.
