Cierra Adams '14 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always had a huge impact on my life. Not only do I enjoy playing, but I believe being involved in a team can teach you many things you can carry on into the real world. Being a captain of my high school team taught me to be a leader, and I always cared deeply about my teammates and how well our seasons were going. I want to play college soccer to give me that experience and because I am in no way ready to stop playing. I want to be a teacher when I grow up. I have had many influential teachers in my life throughout school, and I want to share my knowledge with young children and help them have bright futures. I always took great pride in my grades and tried my hardest on any assignments my teachers gave me. I want to help children understand how important it is to work their hardest at anything they do in life. I have a strong desire in helping others be their best and supporting them in any way I can.  Receiving a high quality college education that will develop me into a rigorous and thought provoking  educator is my ultimate goal,  however I believe that playing college soccer will also give me interaction skills I will also be able to apply in my career of being a teacher.  Both of these opportunities will allow me to continue the commitment I have made to the core values of teamwork, education, work ethic, leadership, giving back, and making my mark in life.
