Michelle Fotheringham '16 Recruiting Profile

 My aspirations for college are to succeed in my chosen field of study, Kinesiology to become a physical therapist. I will strive to achieve a balance between academics and athletics . I have the mind set to stay focused on my academics while playing soccer. I have played soccer for a total of 10 years.  I would like to pursue my dream of achieving the opportunity to play college soccer. The score factor is not my reason to participate, playing to 100% of my ability is why i enjoy soccer.
I am a dedicated athlete.  I attend all practices, games and tournaments.  It is important to me to be an example to my teammates to show leadership. I encourage my teammates to stay determined and focused. I have been a member of the varsity team at Waxahachie High School since my freshman year. In the years 2012-2013 also, 2013-2014 we were awarded district champs and qualified in the semi regional tournament in play offs. I just moved from Waxahachie, Texas to Piedmont, South Carolina and I will still be playing here for my senior year.
