Taylor Cardinal '11 Recruiting Profile

For me as a student athlete, being a student comes first. Academics are the most important thing to me because I believe it is what's going to take you the furthest in life...and I mean accidents happen on the pitch all the time which could end your career and if you don't have academics what do you fall back on? I am a firm believer in quotes. My personal favorite is "The only way of finding the limits of the possible is going beyond them into the impossible". As an athlete I bring a lot to the teams I am on. I am a multi sport athlete (playing soccer,basketball,volleyball). I have a positive attitude, am driven, hardworking, and can't stand losing. Strengths in the sport of soccer for goalkeeping is my shotstopping,my vertical, accurate throws and accurate drops kicks (I am an all-round good player and have been known to play some midfield and striker). My goals in life are to graduate High School, Get an academic/athletic scholarship to one of my top 5 Universities, and to play soccer while getting my education. In the long run I hope to be able to represent my country and or play proffessionally. Once I am finished High School I plan on majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Biology(or another science).
