Mallory Rae '14 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and work very hard at being the best player I can be. I practice at the Farias Soccer Academy approx. 14 hours a week and am involved with their Elite and Showcase program. I am completely dedicated to being a great soccer player. In the summer of 2012 I played U18 Tier 1 soccer as a U16 player.  This summer I play in the Senior Women Premier League.  This is two years above my age level and the highest club level you can play in Nova Scotia.  I have been to the provincial finals twice and to Nationals once. I have been a starter on my High School team since my first year and play wing or striker. In the 2012/13 season I scored 15 goals and assisted many others. I scored the game winning goal in the semi-finals against the three time provincial champs. We won 2-0. Our team came in 2nd place in the province with a loss of 1-0 in the finals. In my Senior year, I made Team Captain.  My greatest strength is my work ethic as I will work very hard to reach my goals. I am a very good student with an 87 average and most of my classes are at the advanced level. I am a team player and work hard to assist goals, set up plays and scoring opportunities.  I am a varsity track member, running the 100m and 200m. My 100m time was 13.85.
