Alexis Green '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Alexis Green. I'm a young rising senior at East Henderson High School. I'm 17 years old as of July 13th.  I'm 5 foot 4 and i weigh 110 pounds. I run about a 4.7 forty yard dash. Im almost as fast as some of the guys at my school to be honest haha. I have started on the varsity team all 3 years that i have played high school ball. I am one of our starting forwards. I usually play center forward. However, i play right and left forward as well. As a freshman i earned All-Conference and All-Region Honerable Mention. I also recieved All-Area and All-County as a freshman. My sophmore year at East i earned All-Conference and All-Region. i also won All-Area and All-County. I also recieved the honor of being named a Kiwanis All-Star and was chosen to attened a luncheon with some of the top atheletes in our county. My junior year i recieved the honor of being named Edward Jones player of the week at the beginning of my season with 7 goals in our first 3 games. I was also named a Kiwanis All-Star. I recieved All-Conference, All-Region, All-County, All-Area, and All-State Honerable Mention. I was second to our Goalie for the running in All-Conference Player of the Year. I have been one of the captains of my high school team 2 out of the 3 years.i am a hardworking player who loves helping out myself and my team mates. I love my teammates as if they were my own sisters. I share a special bond with each of them. I have always been in love with the game. I was a basketball player until i turned 7 years old and my dad introduced me to the best sport in the world. Ever since that day soccer has been my love. The feeling i get when i score a goal, help assist in the scoring of a goal or score the winning shot for my team is priceless. I show great leadership on and off the field. I am an All A's and a few B's student. I have over a 4.0 gpa. I am a member of the National Honors Society at my school. I am not quite sure what colleges i might want to attened. I am keeping my options open. I just want to play soccer at the college level as well as get a great education. I am looking to major in Sports Med. or Athletic training. I want to make sure that the college i attened has these Majors available to me. I am looking to earn a scholarship for soccer in order to help pay for my education. My goal as an athelete is to do the best i can for my team. My high School team made playoffs for the first time this year. We played a very good school in Shelby. Needless to say they beat us pretty bad. I regret not doing enough to allow my team to move on in the playoffs. However, i am hoping to help send my team to play offs once more before my high school career ends.
