Ashlee Speck '16 Recruiting Profile

After double-overtime and going into penalty kicks, winning that conference tournament game my sophomore year was one of the best moments of my life. During that game, I realized how much a strong work ethic, determination, and passion shines through. As a player, I give it my all every time I step onto the field. Once I'm in the mindset, nothing can stop me, I won't let myself or my teammates down. Having leadership experience all through middle school and now high school has helped me further develop my leadership skills on and off the field. My many years of experience playing soccer have helped me to become a versatile player, being able to play anywhere in defense or midfield. I am looking for a school that will not only suit me athletically, but also academically. I believe being a student-athlete at the next level would be a great experience that I know I am ready for. My leadership skills, work ethic, and passion are what would make me a good fit for a college women's soccer program. As a student I set high standards for myself, taking the highest possible level of classes I can. As of now I would like to pursue a degree in Nursing or Exercise Science.
