Hello my name is Jaclene Rieth and I am a senior at Catholic Central High School in Troy, New York. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and I have not stopped since. Soccer is my passion and a major part of who I am. Soccer is very relaxing for me and I cannot imagine my life without it. Aside from soccer I participate in indoor and outdoor track. I run track as a way to stay in shape for soccer. In track I run hurdles and I do sprints. Along with running track I also play travel soccer with Coach Wood. He is a very important person in my life who I have the up most respect for. I am a strong leader and I take everything I do very seriously and do it to the best of my ability. I am very much a team leader because you cannot win in soccer with just one person you need many people to accomplish success in soccer.
I am very much focused on my academics with school. I am apart of National Honor Society at my school. My junior year I was class president and going into my senior year I am vice president of my class. I have also been apart of Student Council since my freshmen year of high school. During the summer I volunteer as a camp counselor at a summer camp called Tech Valley Summer Camp. It is a very interesting camp where we go around the capital region visiting scientific places with incoming freshmen in high school. I have volunteered there for the past three years. In college I plan to study Occupational Therapy. With Occupational Therapy I want to specialize in war veterans. I am very interested in war veterans because they risk their lives everyday to protect us and I have so much respect for them. I want to help them in anyway I can. My main goal in my life is to help people, it is what I am most passionate for.
