Hannah Daley '17 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete, my main goal is to grow and develop as a player and a student, so I am looking for a program that will allow me to do this. Both on and off the field I set very high standards for myself. Since I am predominately a central midfielder, I always work for the benefit of the team, even if that means I do not score a goal myself, but pass it off to someone in a better position than me. My vision of the field, and high soccer IQ allows me to pick out passes that others would not be able to see. With both these characteristics, my natural athleticism, desire to work as hard as possible, I helped my high school team to earn their first conference championship as a sophomore, leading the team in assists. Throughout my many years of playing soccer I have gained more than just experience. Through the hundreds of long games and grueling practices I have discovered my true passion for the sport, and I cannot see myself without it in a few short years. Throughout college, I aspire to succeed both athletically and academically, therefore I am searching for a school that will suit me in both these aspects. With as high of a GPA that I possess in high school, I intend to continue that success in college, in order to earn a degree. I understand the importance of school-work, so that will never be an issue if I were to play on your team. Along with the academic components, I do believe I have the talent, work-ethic, and ability to work under pressure in order to make a significant positive impact on your program.
