- My collegiate goals in regards to academics are to graduate and become a clinical psychologist; in regards to sports I want to play D1 soccer and maybe even play professionally.
- I am a good candidate because I have good leadership skills, I'm hard working, I'm a fast learner and I enjoy motivating myself as well as my teammates.
- I am different from other recruits in character because I'm a big team player, on and off the field. As said previously, I enjoy motivating and helping others as well as seeing myself and my team succeed.
- I am different from other recruits in athletics because I come from a family of athletes; my father Gerald Jones Jr., was a world class sprinter for Nike in the 200m in 1984 (qualifying for the Olympics.) My uncle Sean Jones, played for 13 years in the NFL, was the #1 pick for the Raiders in 1984, was All- Pro, set the Raiders single sack record in 1986, won the Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers and when he retired in 1996 he was #6 on the NFL All-Time sack list (currently he's #16.) Lastly, my other uncle Max Jones, had brief stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills of the NFL, the Boston Breakers and the Birmingham Stallions in the USFL, respectively.
- I am different from other recruits in academics because I take high honors and honors courses and I genuinely like to learn new things.
