McKenna Kynett '16 Recruiting Profile

Just to tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a forward position player, but have experience with attacking mid fielder and defense.  I am outgoing and eager to learn, always striving to improve my game.  I've always had the drive to play college soccer and I am hoping that my hard work and determination will pay off. 

During my freshmen year, I was a starting forward on Varsity and earned the award First Team All League Honors as a forward and also earned the 4A Nevada State Single Season Record Holder for goals scored in a season (29).  As a sophomore, I was humbled and proud to be awarded the Northern Nevada Offensive Player of the Year. (2013)  This year (2014) our team has just clinched first place in our division.. on our quest for the state title.  We finished the season undefeated 24-0, and I finished with 37 goals/ 22 assists and earned the Offensive Player of the Year 2014.  Our team is also ranked 10th nationally this year!

As a student, I work diligently in my classes and consider myself dedicated to my education. I am interested in different areas of physical education and Rehab therapy.  With my grades over the past years, I know that I would contribute to the team GPA... I am a team player on and off the field.  I have also participated in my schools leadership program, Block D and National Honors Society. 

I am constantly improving my game whenever possible to continue to grow as a player.  I consider my myself a very passionate team player. My ability to see the field and where the play will develop is something I think is an asset to my team.  I am an offensive player that aggressively contributes to defensive tasks, and when I lose the ball, I don't quit until we regain possession. I am a loyal, committed and dedicated player, with a never give up attitude.  I know I would continue to raise the level of play in any program.
