Lauren Shadel '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Shadel. I am a 5'5" senior at Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and will graduate in the 2012 class. I have twelve years of club soccer and two years of varsity experience. My primary position is outside defender, however, in high school I play midfield and forward. I have been named one of the captains for my 2011-2012 varsity soccer season. Also, my club team, Players SC 95 SB, won first place in the 2011 Nevada State Cup and competed in the Regional competition in Boise Idaho in June. I aspire to play for a Division I or II school. I am looking for a school where I can balance my time in the classroom and on the soccer field. I am open to any school size and location, particularly one with a physical therapy program. It is important to me that I am able to make an impact on the team as well as academically representing the institution.
