Makenna Schmal '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Makenna Schmal and I am currently in the middle of my junior year at Lincoln East High School where I am a starter on the varsity soccer team. My life is a balance of family, friends, academics, and athletics. I am emerging as a natural leader and was selected as the captain of my soccer team as a sophomore. I pride myself in being a very motivated and hardworking person on and off the field. I strongly believe that talent can only take you so far and that you must work hard to reach your goals. My approach to life is that with a good character, positive attitude, and hard work, I can put myself in the best position to embrace and maximize the opportunities the world has to offer. Overall, I want to find a school that is the perfect fit for me not only athletically but also academically.
