My soccer journey started as a 7 year old being asked to play on the U9 traveling team. Since then I have been able to excel at several positions, including goalie, with the primary focus on defense. In the last few years, I moved to forward based on my speed, and footwork. My footwork is second to none and I can find the spaces needed to get through balls or to receive them.
My dedication to soccer shows in how I interact with my team and coach. I lead by example to my teammates and never give up whether it is a practice or a game. I play to win every time though my skills and ability to be a part of the team and not an independent player. I study the game from every angle to get the best advantage I can over my opponent. My coach has called out that I’m one of the most coachable players that he has worked with as I’m always learning, taking feedback and using that to make constant improvements.
I’m an incredibility active and athletic person outside of soccer. I’m always outside, looking for new adventures, like zip lining, and water skiing. Being active is important to me and I’ll always be in search of the next adventure like skydiving and bungie jumping. I also love animals, especially my two dogs and they are both great soccer defenders when I practice at home.
