Soccer is an integral part of my life. I have been playing since I was 3 years old. I play because I love the game and the fierce competition. One of my coaches, Christian Isquierdo, once said to me, " Be the player they don't have an answer for." This quote has inspired me to push for my goals and be the person that will tip the scale during a critical game.

I am a 5'6'' defender/midfielder graduating in 2014 from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Last year I played in the MRL league and helped my team become league champions and earn an MRL Premier spot. I have also started on the White Bear Lake HS Varsity Team for 2 years. As a sophomore, I was named part of the Section 4AA All-Tournament Team and voted the Most Improved Player on the team. I pride myself on teamwork and clear vision which helps create options and opportunities on and off the field. One of my strengths on the field is my precise ball striking. I have spent a lot of time training to perfect it and in the process, come to realize some of my body's strengths and weaknesses and what it means to "train hard and rest well". As a result, I was able to assist my team in earning our title as Suburban East Conference Champions; Section 4AA Champions and I made the assist which led to the goal that sent our team to the final game where we finished our season as MSHSL 2012 State Class AA Runner-Up. I was selected to the Wells Fargo All-Tournament Girls' Soccer Team and received an Academic Excellence Award for this season.

Ideally I would like to attend a medium to larger size school, near or in a metro area with diverse cultures and a variety of extra-curricular opportunities. I would prefer to be close enough so family can see some of my games but am open to any opportunity which presents a balance of high quality academics with great soccer competition. I am open to all Division levels as well as NAIA opportunities. I would like to play soccer at the highest level I can for as long as I can. I am open to either private or public institutions. I am interested in education as well as a science related major or some melding of both as I continue to learn more about my preferences and discover the majors that are out there.
