My name is Elizabeth Peterson but I like to be called Lizzy. I am a 5’7” junior at Dover Eyota High school in Eyota, Minnesota and will graduate in 2018. Honestly, dependability and determination are characteristics that I live by. I want to share my love of the game with the younger generation. I have been a coach for a recreational team for the past 4 spring seasons. One season I coached a 1st grade boys team. The past 3 seasons for girls teams. The first season was 3rd grade and the last season was 4th/5th grade. I like passing along the teamwork, exercises, and personal achievements that playing soccer can give to someone. I am a versatile player and have played several positions at a high level for my various teams. I play where the team needs me most but my favorite position on the pitch is central defender. I love the battle of skills that occurs against an opposing offense. I have been playing for my club team for the past 8 seasons starting in 2009 at the age of 9. In 2013 my team won the Wal-Mart All American Cup. In 2015 my team made it to State but we lost in the first round. This year I have joined Euro FC to learn a different style of play. I have been playing for my high School team on C squad for one season and Junior Varsity for the past 3 fall seasons. I was team captain for my club team this past spring and also my high school team this fall. I have attended the University of Minnesota College ID residence camps the summers of 2014 and 2016. I also attended the University of Minnesota winter College ID camp on December of 2014. I firmly believe that I have the drive and determination to play at the collegiate level. I work hard to bring 100% to every practice and game. I am willing to go to any location in the country for my education. It does not matter how far the location is away from my hometown. I am very open to all types of schools and division levels. My desired degree is veterinary medicine. My goal in collegiate soccer is to play at the highest competition level possible. I want to make a positive impact on my teammates and my school
