Kiah Lowe '11 Recruiting Profile

You'd think that by playing soccer the majority of your life, you'd have a lot to show for it. Well I don't, that is I don't have fancy medals or awards or tons of special recognition. What I do have is the understanding of teamwork and what it is to be a team. I have an impeccable concept of the game of soccer and what it is to be a leader. This is what I have to show for my years of playing soccer. Medals and awards don't mean much to me, as long as I'm playing and we're strong as a team, that's what I want to show off. I was elected a captain of my high school soccer team as a sophomore along with a junior and a senior. I knew that this was an incredible opportunity that my team was giving me. At first I thought that my team mates might try and walk all over me and that the other two captains wouldn't respect me because i was only a sophomore, but I had nothing to fear. My team respected me and knew that I had what it took to build a team and lead it. I'm looking to play soccer for the rest of my life, it's what I love and i dedicate everything to it. I love working with a team and playing the game. I'm looking to play anywhere I can, any school, any division, anytime. I just want to play.
