Personal Statement

I am an outgoing, funny, hardworking, approachable student-athlete. I have played 4 years of club soccer for Rush Jackson. I have guessed played for many teams throughout Rush includig Rush Downriver and have dual-rostered for Jackson Rush u16 and u17 teams. In the 2014 fall season of Rush, I played with my primary team (u16), dual-rostered for u17 and played with u18 during their fall season as well. I have been captain of the Rush u16 team for 3 seasons now and hope to continue that roll. I played varsity soccer freshman year at Leslie High School and was a starter. I am very intelligent and am a very friendly player, teamate, and friend. I am a very flexible player on the field and can play many different positions including outside back, center midfielder, and outside midfielder. I have tried out for ODP two years in a row now with no luck; but having talked to the coaches, I will continue to return until I make it. I am a determined player on the field and am physical. My goal for college is to be recruited for a division 1 school because I know I am capable. I hope to play after college and my ultimate goal is to play on the Women's National team. As far away as that might seem, I am determined to do what I can to make that dream a reality. I want to go to school for Sports Medicine and hope to gain a career in sports if soccer ends after college. School is very important to me and I am a very bright student. I maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA within three semesters. This year will be my second year playing for Leslie High School.
