Emily Esser '15 Recruiting Profile

I am hardworking and always strive to improve. I take criticism well and look at it as an opportunity to better myself as a player. I believe soccer is a team sport for a reason, and offer encouragement both on and off the field and I always have a positive attitude. I am very vocal as a center back and play a role in organizing my team during games. I have developed quick decision making skills over the years. I play with aggression, determination, and heart. Passion for the sport has a huge influence on me as a player and I'm ready to do anything it takes to reach the next level. I have maintained a 4.0 and plan on graduating as a valedictorian. This year I will be acting as Student Body Vice President and am looking to further develop my leadership skills.
