Elisabeth (Elise) Royer '15 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be the best I can be in whatever I do. I know many people say this but very few put in the time and commitment it takes. Even when it is 10 degrees outside I will get out and run everyday because I know this is what it takes to be the best in soccer. I am a natural athlete and could compete in many different sports but I love soccer. I like the community of friends and the "thinking" part of the game. Within soccer I could play multiple positions but again I like the "thinking" side of the defense and am drawn to do everything it takes to keep the ball out of our goal.  I have chosen to give up other sports I excel in so I can become the best in soccer. I want to play competitive soccer in college. Because of my commitment to preparation and excellence I know I could compete or develop myself to compete at any level.

I know there is more to life than soccer and ultimately I want to help people. I have been gifted in math and science and feel drawn into the nursing field. Additionally, I am committed to my faith and have an ultimate desire to live a life of integrity and service to others.
