Larissa Barnett '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a very dedicated athlete and student. My biggest assets are speed and toughness. I am extremely coachable and a true student of the game. I am a two time team captain who leads by example  both on and off the field. Although right footed, I mainly play left outside back where I am just as comfortable using my left. On my high school team, I have lettered both freshman and sophomore years. I am a two year starter and will be entering my junior year season this upcoming spring. I have also ran and lettered both years in track, mainly short distance events, and my times have qualified me for State of Michigan championship events. Academically, I am a very disciplined student, carrying a 3.8 weighted GPA while enrolled in AP and Honors curriculum. I am also a member of Student Council. I volunteer through school during the summer months, introducing and teaching young children the game of soccer. I am highly devoted to both, athletics and academics and I think you will find I am an individual of exceptional character and would be a tremendous representative of your institution.
