I am 5'4 and 120 pounds. I can run the mile in 6 minutes 25 seconds. Throughout the years of being at Detroit Country Day school I have maintained a solid B average. I am determined, confident, I never give up, and I am very positive. I know how to work hard and push myself for a goal, dream or even to win a game. Last year, I gave my life, heart and determination to becoming a regional figure skater. I practiced 20 hours a week so I could be on top. I know how hard it is to stay committed to something when your tired, sore or fighting an injury, but that will never stop me. One quality that makes me very unique is how I love to sprint. I never seem to loose any energy throughout the game, but even if I do begin to get tired, I think positively and push myself, because if I'm not sore the next day then I realize I did not work hard enough. Soccer is part of who I am, I play not just to chase, shoot or score or attempt to score a goal, I play soccer for that rush you get the adrenaline which I can not describe. Soccer has helped me in school to maintain my grades and make me a determined and strong women. I have volunteer at Oakwood hospital 2-3 times a week for at least 4 hours or more, I also sing at my choir at school which I have been doing through middle school. On weekends however I sing at my church. I keep in shape by playing soccer on a regular basis with my private coach and soccer team, but also by running 4-6 miles with occasional weight training also helps. Growing up I played soccer on a club team which had both boys and girls and enjoyed it, but growing up I was not just doing one sport I was playing violin, soccer, figure skating, swimming, tennis and more. I am very diverse but have come to realize this past year what I really want to do in life. I play so many sports that I have been considering sports medicine and knowing what I can do and what I want to do is so much more clearer to me then it has been that I can do it. I can play and be a good student its not impossible, you need balance, good friends and a family that supports you both on the field and off. Last year as a Sophmore I played on Varsity. Our coach, Coach Bukari played me as a starter for most of the games, but I was never playing the full 80 minutes. Our final game last year Coach Bukari told me that this year I was stating every game and that he believed in me just I had to work on the basic skills and that is what I have been doing this summer with my private coach. I'm not a quitter. It's my dream to play sports in college, because every push, kick, goal or tear you receive at any sport there's so much you gain and learn. I love to win, but who doesn't, but when you lose don't you feel that intensity knowing that your heart, mind and body are gonna work harder, thats a feeling I love. The adrenaline every game you get is amazing I love the win or lose atmosphere. For me location and where I go is not important just as long as I go to a place that's right for me and where I belong! I am always open to any school! I would love to receive a scholarship for soccer, but if its not possible I still would want to play on any team at any school. My goals are to play on any team, because no matter where I am playing on a team is amazing. I always wanted to play college sports and to know that there's this amazing opportunity for me I am going to take every step of it. Just as I have learned my whole life along with other many different life lessons when one door closed another one opens.
