Madeline Manning '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madeline Manning and I am a Senior at Weymouth High School. A few statistics about me as an athlete are that I am 5'5"(and a half), 125 lbs, and have been a tri-athlete in Varsity Soccer, Varsity Track, and Varsity Lacrosse all four years of high school. From the time I was 7 I have been playing on clubs teams and having a soccer ball at my feet at practices and games at least four times a week. I have always been a coach's player, mostly because I give my all at every session and every minute on game day, and my coaches in the past have all said that I make everyone else step up their games by how hard I work. Throughout my soccer career I have been made captain of my MPS, Crusaders United, and U17 ODP teams. Although I have loved every minute of club soccer, arriving into high school my family's financial reasons led me to focus primarily on high school sports, but I have kept up my same hard working mentality and my work in the last few years has been acknowledged as I have also been made tri-captain at my high school (Captain of Lacrosse Junior and Senior years). My goals in college are to get the best possible education I can obtain, while still continuing to pursue my love of soccer. I am planning on majoring in Communications/Broadcasting, and my goals in an athletic sense are to play at the highest level possible, and to continue working my hardest to get the best out of my teammates. I know I have the ability and the drive to be a great fit for any team who is willing to have me be a part of their soccer family. Please consider me in your recruitment process!
