I have been a soccer player for as long as I can remember. Two out of my three sisters have played colligate soccer and all four siblings have played for their varsity high school teams. In addition to playing soccer for as long as I can remember, I have been determined to play soccer in college. On the field, I am usually placed in the center midfield position, however I can also play up top at forward or out wide on the wing. I have a good vision of the field; I am selfish enough to know when to take the shot, and I am smart enough to know when to do a one two versus playing a ball long. I am an aggressive player, small in height, but not afraid to box somebody out or drop a shoulder while completing for the ball. As a leader, I am one who encourages others on and off the field. I believe that a good team which works as a unit will more often than not be more successful than a fragmented team full of great individual players. I was first enrolled into a club team at a young age, playing a year up for the first three years of my club soccer career. I then went to the Boston Bolts, and am currently playing for the GPS NPL U'17 team. As a student, for the past ten years I have committed myself to being the best student-athlete that I can be. In college, I am looking for a school where I can play and be apart of a team for all four years at a competitive level. I attend a prestigious independent high school and am very committed to my studies. I am interested in Biology, however I find that my skills in each subject are evenly distributed due interest in most subjects that I take. At school, I am a part of the service committee, dance department, school spirit competition, lacrosse team, and soccer team. Playing soccer with my siblings, my town, my club, and my school has allowed me to develop into a better student and leader which is why I am determined to continue playing at the colligate level after I graduate from Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in 2017.
