Molly Fitzgerald '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Molly Fitzgerald. I am 5'3" tall and weigh 130 pounds. Currently I play with the Stars Rovers club on the U18 premier team. I have played in every varsity game since my freshman year of high school and was chosen for All Conference my Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. This year I was voted Player of the Year in the Merrimack Valley small school conference, All Eastern MA team, an Eagle Tribune and Boston Globe All Star. I am primarily a forward but throughout my career I have played all positions, even goalie. My coaches usually play me at forward because of my speed and aggressiveness. However, I am more than willing to play any position that would benefit my team. Playing soccer for more than 12 years has made me aware of both my strengths and weaknesses on the field. As a physical player, I am strong and very fast. Speed has played a huge role in my success as a player. I am also a strong player when it comes to a 1 v 1 situation, am competitive and am never willing to give up. I have also learned to "suck it up" and continue playing my hardest no matter what the circumstances were. I am looking forward to playing soccer in college on a team that is completely committed to to playing soccer and succeeding as a team.
