Allison Lima '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allison Marie Lima and sports are my #1 passion. I started playing soccer at a young age and since then I have played all year round; from fall season to indoor to spring and beach soccer tournaments. I was a starter my freshmen year and participated in high school soccer camps and leagues with my team going into my freshmen year. We had a great season and made it to states where we lost in the first round. Sophomore year we had an even better year. I scored 7 goals (all from headers) and was "praised for [my]defense." -Coach Galvin. After getting 2nd in our Conference we went to states again losing in the second round. That season I was chosen to be captain for my junior and senior year. Going into junior year we knew it was going to be a tough season having lost all of our seniors (8 out of the 11 starters).  It was our rebuilding year and we played very well. I scored 3 goals that season, however I did get injured and could not play half the season. Going into my senior year I look forward to doing my absolute best and ending my high school career on a great note. As a captain of both high school and club team I'm very proud of my team mates and I always encourage them to do better. I'm a positive, determined, and focused athlete who thrives on competition and improving my skills. Soccer is not only a sport for me it's a lifestyle and as a player and athlete I will always give 150% and then some.
