Soccer has been a big part of my life for as long as I remember. I started playing when I was around three years old, and I have been playing competitively ever since. Playing collegiate soccer will help me to continue to take part in the sport I love with all my heart for as long as my body allows.
I am an incredibly driven, tough player who strives to be the best I can be through the advice of my coaches and teammates, so I am always open to any advice that could improve my play. On every team I play for, I lead my fellow athletes confidently and intelligently and leave all I have to give on the field every time I step foot on it. On the field, I am not afraid to be vocal and share my deep knowledge of the game of soccer with my team to help them be better. Along with my tough style of play, I can adapt quickly to different styles of play and methods of attacks in order to do all I can to assist my team in any and all ways.
In regards to academics, I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field, always pouring all I have into my studies. Low grades and less than maximum effort are two things that haven't been and will never be part of the vision of my future at any time along my journey, so I continue to keep my GPA at least 4.0 or better to continue to make myself open to various possible opportunities that I believe will come my way with enough effort and hard work. As a person, the welfare of others is very important to me and my journey to grow in character and potential, so I continue to look for more community projects to take part in, including volunteering at summer soccer camps, participating in school clubs, and being involved in giving back to the community through service.
To sum up my relationship with soccer: I couldn't imagine my life without soccer and the great things it has brought with it and continues to bring each time I lace up my cleats.
