Lauren Butler '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Butler, I am 5'5" and weight 126 lbs. I run track when i'm not on the soccer field. With a 100 m. dash time at 13.1 seconds and a 200 m. dash time of 28.6 seconds. As a freshman I earned freshman of the year of my high school team. My sophomore and junior year I was chosen for 2nd team all-distict. As a senior this year, I am the captain with the ability and desire to be a leader. During games and practices players are aware of my presence, I carry a strong voice and add a competitive edge. I am known as the fastest and strongest kicker on my high school team. Although my right foot is my dominant foot, I can clear a ball just as well with my left. I am always willing to learn new things, and as a hard worker on and off the field I push myself as far as I can to accomplish my goals. It has always been my dream to play at the next level for a competitive team. I'm mostly interested in a small college close to Louisiana, but I am willing to go where ever soccer will take me.
